Privacy
Your memories stay yours.
A gift on Forevermore is made from things that matter to you. Here is how we look after them, in plain language.
Last updated July 2026.
What you share with us
When you make a gift, you give us the photos, words, and music you want in it, along with your name, the recipient's name, and your email address, so we can set up the gift and send you receipts. We keep all of it so your world stays put and the person you made it for can open it whenever they like.
We also keep basic records of your purchases (through Paddle) and of the emails we've sent you. That's the whole list. We don't collect anything on the side.
You can ask us to delete a gift and everything in it at any time. Write to us and we will take care of it.
Payment
Payments are handled by Paddle, our payment provider. When you buy a gift, your card details go straight to Paddle and are processed on their systems. We never see or store your full card number. Paddle acts as the seller of record and follows their own privacy practices for the payment side of things.
Who helps us run this
Running Forevermore takes a handful of trusted services behind the scenes. Here's who does what:
- Paddle handles payments and receipts, and is our seller of record.
- Supabase runs our database, logins, and file storage, so it's where your gift content lives.
- Resend sends our email.
- Cloudflare and Render serve the site and your published gifts.
- PostHog, on its EU servers, gives us basic analytics.
Each of these only handles the part of the job it needs to, and nothing more.
How we use analytics
We measure how the site is doing with PostHog, running on its EU cloud. It's cookieless, which means there's nothing to accept and no banner in your way. Session recording is off, and analytics stays switched off entirely unless we've turned it on.
We look at the numbers in aggregate, things like which pages people visit and where they came from. We don't build a profile of you, and we don't sell your data to anyone. Ever.
Cookies and storage
We keep cookies and browser storage to the bare minimum. Here's everything we actually use:
- A note in your browser that remembers whether you picked light or dark mode on this site.
- A login session in the dashboard, so you stay signed in while you build.
- A small marker that remembers a gift's access code has already been entered, so the recipient isn't asked for it again.
That's it. No ad cookies, no tracking cookies, nothing sold to anyone.
Emails we send
You'll get the essentials: your receipt and the account emails you'd expect. On top of that, we send a few helpful nudges, like a reminder to finish a gift you started or to share one that's ready.
These come from forevermore@getforevermore.co through Resend. Every non-essential email has an easy way to opt out, and reminder emails are opt-in, so you only get them if you've asked for them.
Who can see a gift
A gift is meant for the person you made it for, and you choose when and how to send it. A published gift lives at its own web address on getforevermore.co. You can keep it public, so anyone with the link can open it, or private, locked with a six-character access code you share only with the people you want.
You can also make a gift for one person. They claim it, and after that it opens only for them.
We don't share the contents of your gift with anyone, and we never use your photos or words to promote Forevermore unless you've told us we can.
About the recipient
When you make a gift, you give us the recipient's name and, usually, photos of them. We only use that content inside the gift you're making. We don't use it for anything else.
If you're the recipient of a gift and you'd like something about you removed, write to us at support@getforevermore.co and we'll sort it out.
Your data, and how long we keep it
Gifts are meant to last, so by default we keep your gift content for good. That's how a world stays open "forever" for the person you made it for. We don't quietly delete things or age them out.
It's your data, though. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete a gift, or your whole account, at any time. Email support@getforevermore.co and we'll do it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we'll update the date at the top of this page and flag anything meaningful. No quiet rewrites.
Questions or requests
If you want a copy of your data, want something deleted, or just have a question about any of this, email us at support@getforevermore.co and a real person will get back to you.
